My Design Philosophy
The only thing better than crafting is sharing the knowledge! I design patterns for things I've made for my own family and for gifts. There is definitely a niche for patterns for smart, good looking sewn goods.
When I take the time to handcraft an item, I want it to be unique, versatile, and durable. And those are the results you can expect from a 'La Todera' pattern!
Inspiration
I'm an artist born in Illinois, where many of my foremothers were seamstresses and quilters. Then lived in Argentina for many years, where the artists are cultured and extremely resourceful. Not surprisingly, my best work is practical yet beautiful everyday objects. I want to share them with you!
